Chicken tacos, beef tacos, big tacos and tiny tacos. As a boy and his dog watch a television show about dragons, they unexpectedly get caught up in the “Dos and Don’ts” of what to feed them. But if they accidentally eat spicy salsa, watch out!

Celebrate Arbor Day, Earth Day, and International Sculpture Day at Pyramid Hill. This celebration of art and nature is free to the public, including free admission to the Ancient Sculpture Museum from Noon to 4 p.m. Pyramid Hill will be hosting guided hikes, a special Happy Hour at the Fretboard Beer Garden, the Contemporary Art Center’s Spring Family Festival at the Grand Pavilion, a university exhibition artist walk in partnership with Miami University and the University of Cincinnati, an exhibition reception for Out of the Darkness, free yoga classes in partnership with Imagination Yoga, and a special “en plein air” art competition juried by local artist and educator Daniel Bonham.
Art Play Hike: Eden Park

Join us this month as we explore Eden Park Mirror Lake, take part in hands-on art making and try out some kid-friendly yoga poses. Bundle up! These monthly hikes will take place rain or shine. Come explore the great outdoors with your little one, warm up with some coffee or hot coco and take home an art activity bag. Each family will receive an interactive park print designed by a local artist. During the program masks are recommended for participants 4 and up. This program is designed for children ages 2-7 and their parent or caregiver.
Cincinnati Observatory Virtual Spring Break Camp

Join the Cincinnati Observatory for our virtual spring break camp! We will learn about space, do some citizen science and create some out of this world crafts. The Observatory will provide all the supplies you camper needs. Supplies can be picked up from the Observatory. Please note that a computer or tablet with an internet connection is needed to take part in this camp. Scholarships are available, email [email protected] a 1 page description of why you want to attend camp and a letter of recommendation from an adult (teacher, coach, mentor, caregiver).

Every spring, the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden becomes the Cincinnati Botanical Garden & Zoo when it transforms into a magnificent explosion of color! As one of only two accredited botanical gardens in Ohio, the Cincinnati Zoo offers one of the largest tulip displays in the Midwest. Dubbed “Tulip Mania,” Zoo Blooms also features more than one million daffodils, hyacinths, flowering trees, shrubs and other spring bulbs exploding with color. Reservations and masks are required to enter the zoo.

Pawpaw Planting Project at Long Branch Farm & Trails

Celebrate Earth Month by giving back. During this family-friendly learn-by-doing volunteer project, you’ll help plant hundreds of baby pawpaw trees “way down yonder” by O’Bannon Creek at Long Branch Farm & Trails.
