5 Tooth Fairy Ideas for the Lazy Mom

0

During dinner one night, my daughter Ellie freaked out while eating corn-on-the-cob.

Mommmmmyyyyyy my tooth feels funny.”

Welp, it was loose, and it was time for Momma (aka the Tooth Fairy) to come up with a few ideas before the first tooth came out. However, here’s the problem. I get lazy. I really mean well, but life happens and you get tired, ya know? But, I wanted to do more than just stick some money under her pillow. She has an active imagination, so I wanted to totally give her some amazing memories!

Trying to tell myself this will NOT end up like the elf-on-the-shelf. ‘Buddy’ may have been forgotten a few days this past Christmastime. Anyhoo…

Here are 5 quick and easy ideas I came across.

  1. Glitter Dollar – Dollar Store hack! I’m not only lazy, but I’m also cheap. Glitter and glue is all you need. For a little boy or girl, this is a pretty awesome memory.
  2. Tooth Fairy Certificates – Click on the link and you will have 37 certificates to choose from! Many of these are editable, so you can personalize them.
  3. Foldable Heart Dollars – I thought this was a super neat idea. Remember origami as a child? From the eyes of a child, I’m sure this is going to be remembered.
  4. Fairy Footprints – There are a lot of these stickers on Amazon. I also thought maybe some paint/glitter on some paper with the Tooth Fairy money would be a cute idea, too!
  5. Fairy Receipt Printable – This makes the Tooth Fairy look legit, man. Who can deny a receipt? This is free and editable.

Also, Tooth Fairy literacy is extremely important. Here is a link of some tooth fairy books you can look for/put on hold at your local library,

What kind of Tooth Fairy traditions do you have for your family? Drop them in the comments below! I would love to hear from you!

I'm finishing up my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education! Never too late to go for a dream folks. In my free time, I enjoy: church, all things Disney, reading, writing and quiet times with my family. I'm a simple girl! It does not take very much to make me happy. You will see me at the grocery store with my messy bun and yoga pants on, that's for sure.
