It’s already August 2023, and the Summer has been flying by, but it isn’t over yet! Check out these upcoming events around Cincinnati & NKY, and have some Summer fun before it all ends.


Cincinnati Children’s Cincy Sock Campaign

Month of August

For every pair sold, another pair is donated to kids in their care, and an additional 35% is to support their comfort dogs program.

Newport’s Festival Park at the Levee

Enjoy all things goetta plus live music and family fun. Thursday and Friday hours: 5-11pm. Saturday hours: noon-11pm. Sunday hours: noon-9pm. Happening at Newport’s Festival Park at the Levee.

Fritz’s First Birthday!

August 3

The Cincinnati Zoo is hosting a birthday celebration including birthday cake for Zoo guests, watermelon carving, special photo opportunities around the Zoo, and more. 

Smale Family Fun Days

Smale Riverfront Park

There will be animals, music, puppet shows, face painting, and more.

St. Bernard German Luau

August 4-5

City Hall on Vine Street

Enjoy live music, great food, a doggie costume contest, game booths, and more. There will be a parade on Saturday starting at 1pm.

River Days

August 4-6
New Richmond

Enjoy live music, carnival games and rides, a poker tent, inflatables for the kids, and more. Fireworks are at 10pm on Saturday.

Westside Market

Westwood Town Hall

Over 100 local vendors, food trucks, and lots of family fun activities.

Family Fun on the Hill – Meteor Shower and Movie Night

August 12
Pyramid Hill

Stay up late to observe a meteor shower and watch a movie. Event included with cost of admission to the park.

Loveland’s Movies in the Park

August 12

Encanto starts at sundown.

Kids Fun Day

Full Moon Walk: Blue Moon at Rowe Woods

Cincinnati Nature Center

Witness the night’s magic transform the trails as you marvel at the full moon and reveal natural history happenings on this quiet guided hike. Tickets required.
