As we start 2024 brimming with fresh hopes and dreams, some of us may be revisiting unfulfilled goals from 2023. This year, let’s break free from the treadmill of typical resolutions – ditch the generic diets and gym routines! Instead, embrace exciting ventures that push beyond the box.

2024

Think learning to invest wisely, volunteering your time to a cause you care about, or even exploring a brand-new hobby! Whatever path you choose, remember, countless doors lead to a happier and healthier 2024.

We all understand the pitfalls of lofty, all-or-nothing resolutions. So, let’s take baby steps this year! Set achievable goals for once a month, twice a week, or even daily, celebrating each victory along the way.

Here are some inspiring monthly ideas:

  • Declutter with a purpose. Donate unused items from your home to a church or non-profit, inspiring your children to share with those less fortunate.
  • Bond with your kids through nature. Embrace your health and instill good habits by taking weekly walks together, appreciating the beauty of the outdoors.
  • Spread gratitude, online and offline. If you’re on social media, encourage your children to share daily things they’re thankful for. By the end of 2025, you’ll have a heartwarming record of 365 blessings you cherished as a family.
  • Step outside your comfort zone. If you’re an outdoor enthusiast, try an indoor activity this month, and vice versa! Expand your horizons, embrace new experiences, and watch yourself grow.

Let’s make 2024 a year that truly counts!

I attended Nursing School in California. I now reside in Kentucky. I’m a Nurse Aid Instructor for Gateway Technical Community College. I’m also a Nurse with On Call Agency. I’m a Jill of all trades. I envision a small community where people can come together and celebrate diversity. Sharing foods, modeling traditional costumes, and to be able to collaborate a fashion shows for entertainment for children. I would like obtain my 5th degree in Tae Kwon Do if I can fit it in my schedule. This would be a great opportunity for my son to join me to learn about physical strength and how to maintain a healthy mental status. We will continue to audition for commercials. We also love fishing, hiking, and traveling with our cat Zoe Zoe.
