Raising Cane’s: Raising the Bar on Chicken Fingers

This post is part of a sponsored relationship, however opinions expressed by the author are genuine. We strive to partner with local businesses we feel are of interest to our community.

I am a newly remarried, full-time working, co-parenting mama with two sons in middle and elementary school. There’s barely enough hours in my day to get my boys back and forth to school and sports and afterschool activities, do laundry and keep my house in order (who am I kidding…my house is always a mess)! Add in picking up extra shifts at work on the weekends and keeping up with a busy co-parenting schedule, meal planning is one of the last things I have on my mind sometimes!

When my meal planning has gone awry and there just isn’t time to cook a healthy, delicious meal for my boys and husband, I have a reliable (yummy!) go-to option to share with you! Forget ordinary fast food that has little nutritional value and ingredients you can’t spell or pronounce. I’m going to let you in on my secret weapon for those nights that I just have too much on my plate and want to quickly take care of my family’s hunger pangs!

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is one of the newest best-kept secrets in the Cincinnati/NKY area! I am not exaggerating when I say that my family LOVES the chicken tenders and could eat there multiple times a week! Raising Cane’s has made guilt-filled, bland fast food a thing of the past. They have created a simple menu using simple ingredients with a simple ordering process! Just what every mother (or father) with hangry kiddos in tow wants! With 11 locations in the Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky area, there’s definitely one convenient to most of you!

Raising Cane’s ONLY has Chicken Tenders.

Here’s the deal. With only having a few key items on their menu, they can do those things amazingly well. Their concept is simple and unique… they have ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals! Raising Cane’s only uses ALWAYS FRESH, NEVER EVER FROZEN® premium chicken breast tenderloins to make the most tender chicken fingers possible. Their special marinade tenderizes the chicken, locks in moisture and adds flavor. Cane’s certified “Bird Specialists” hand-dip and bread chicken fresh for every order. The tenders are fried in a premium quality Canola Oil blend to enhance the flavor. They don’t use heat lamps, or even OWN any, because they only cook to order. That’s how you know your order is fresh, every single time.

They keep it simple and high-quality with only 4 items on their MENU.

Chicken Tenders
Coleslaw
Crinkle-Cut Fries
Garlic Toast (my 8-year-old’s personal favorite!)

My personal favorite is the Cane’s Sauce that comes with every meal. This delicious “secret recipe” sauce deserves a category all it’s own. I might have a stack of Cane’s Sauce in my refrigerator that I use on other foods I might have in the house. It’s just THAT good!

Invite them to a party!

Raising Cane’s not only has a delicious chicken tender menu, but they also have the ability to place larger orders, called Tailgates. Available in Quantities of 25, 50, 75 or 100 Chicken Fingers with Cane’s Sauce included with each Tailgate order! Kids love chicken tenders, so for your next birthday party, pick up a Tailgate order. You have enough to worry about between decorating, picking out the perfect theme and cake and deciding on the location (if not at home). Leave the cooking to Cane’s! Their convenient Tailgate quantities will be perfect for the party!

Or forget the party and just let Raising Cane’s help you with your weekly meal prep.

On a weekend that I don’t have to work or when my boys are with their father, I like to attempt to meal prep for the week. One of my favorite meals is Chicken Parmesan but sometimes it can be overwhelming and labor intensive. So during my meal prep/freezer meal planning, I will pick up an order of the chicken tenders from Cane’s and then add my own sauce and pasta, top with cheese and bake. Voila! Instant chicken parmesan for a crowd or freezer meals prepped and ready.

New baby meal train?

Know someone that had a baby or just moved to the area? Grab one of your prepped meals using Raising Cane’s Chicken Tenders and you have an easy, delicious meal any family would love. Personally, I like ordering the large portions (i.e. Caniac Meal) or a catering order and put together salads for the week. Meal planning is key with my non-stop life (though not always accomplished), so if I can make it a little bit easier on myself OR someone else, you better believe I will!

Eat well and feel good about it!

If you thought the delicious food was the best part… you are going to love this. Not only can you feel good about the food you are eating, but you can also feel amazing knowing that you are supporting a company that gives back to their community. The founder of Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves, has stated this about giving back to the community:

We recognize our responsibility in supporting the community and enjoy improving the lives and communities of the people whom make the company the success that it is. Every crew member at Raising Cane’s helps give back to the community when they work hard to make Raising Cane’s successful. That hard work generates income and resources that we use to give back to our communities. Raising Cane’s does not want to be just another restaurant chain in the community. We want to become an integral part of that community.”

Raising Cane’s strives to be active in as many areas of the community as they can. They focus on many areas, including Education, Feeding the Hungry, Active Lifestyles, Pet Welfare, and Business Development Entrepreneurship. My family is currently in the thick of soccer tournaments and the beginning of basketball season, nevermind the holidays right around the corner. If you are like me, pick up some Raising Cane’s chicken tenders for your next quick and easy, not to mention delicious takeout meal. Planning one of those holiday parties happening this season? Consider Raising Cane’s catering options! My family loves eating at Raising Cane’s so much… and if for some reason your family hasn’t discovered this amazing hidden gem, once you do, I guarantee you’ll be a Caniac, just like me!

I am originally from New Hampshire and moved to the Cincinnati area in 2003. I am a single mom to 2 amazing boys, Eli and Ethan. We are avid Reds fans and you will likely find us at the ballpark quite a bit during baseball season. I have a degree in healthcare management and work full-time in Cincinnati. I have shared parenting of my boys, so when we are together, I try to make sure we make the most of our time! Whether it’s seeing Madcap Puppets, exploring the numerous local parks, enjoying the Cincinnati Pops, or cheering on our Cincinnati Redlegs, I strive to expose my boys to as many aspects of culture that I can! I enjoy music (I’ve played piano for 30 years) as well as being crafty (as time allows!), making crazy cool cakes, and relaxing with my boys, our dog Frankie and cats Lyra & Luna (we have quite the animal kingdom in our house)! I’m really excited about sharing a piece of my world with you and this oftentimes humorous and wild adventure I call my life as a mom!
