In the interest of full disclosure, I will start off by telling you the following:
- I love cooking.
- I love meal planning.
- I love recipes.
- I love lists. (As in, I probably need an intervention.)
- And I love grocery shopping. Or at least I used to. Before I had kids.
Once upon a time, grocery shopping was a zen experience for me. I would sit at my kitchen table with my cook books and recipes and make my list for the store. The list would be organized and color coded by area of the store (told you I needed an intervention). I would then compare the list to coupons (both print and online) and finally I would shop. Selecting produce, filling the cart and crossing things off the list were so therapeutic for me.
But as I said, this was all before I had kids. Now, I am lucky if I manage to scribble a couple “needed” items down on the back of an envelope and get out without forgetting something. It takes forever to locate the not-so-commonly used items as my perusal of the shelves is interrupted by any number of “incredibly important and can not wait” things my children need to say or do. And the blueberries always get eaten before we leave the store. Always. And I have to explain to the cashier why I am buying an empty blueberry container.
I miss my lists and grocery shopping organization. But, there is hope! Enter Remke Rewards from stage left!
There are many things to love about Remke Markets and their newly revamped rewards program, however I am compelled to begin with my personal favorite… the mobile app and yep, you guessed it, the re-introduction of the potential for a list!
Remke Mobile App

This app is user friendly, convenient and gives you access to coupons and weekly specials all at the tip of your fingers. I can once again make my lists and they are so functional! I can simply click what I want to add from the weekly circular or type in my own. Don’t want that item any more? Delete! I foresee this significantly changing the face of the preschool car line for me. Flipping through coupons on the app is just as easy and once you register your rewards card in the app, they automatically sync to give you your discounts at checkout. Which leads me to…
Digital Coupons
Online or on your phone, you can now load digital coupons directly onto your Remke Rewards card. Just log-in, press a button to add the coupon and the savings will be applied at the register when you scan your card. No scissors required!
Pump Perks
With Remke Rewards, you’ll continue to save money at the pump by using your Remke Rewards linked Speedy Card.
These have been around for a while, but continue to be an awesome added bonus to their rewards program. We all need groceries, so we might as well make those hard earned dollars spent work a little harder for us. Shop Remke and save the next time you fill your tank up at any Speedway location once you link your Remke Rewards card with a new or existing Speedy Rewards card.
