We are happy to announce a new member of the CMB family!

Meet Andi:

“Born and raised in the Buckeye state, my husband, daughter and I moved to Cincinnati a few years ago by way of Chicago so we could be a little closer to family. What a great decision that was! While the landscape is just stunning, we’ve also really enjoyed the welcoming people, great food (still working on the Skyline thing…) and entrepreneurial energy in the area. We have two amazing little toddlers who continually entertain us with jokes and great dance moves and we recently adopted eight chickens—don’t ask. I’ve spent the last 10 years in PR, which basically means I write stuff and other people put their name on it, so I’m excited to finally take some ownership of my words!”

If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
Hang out with Andre 3000 from Outkast. What an unbelievable creative talent. We have about as much in common as a cat and a fish, but it’d be amazing to sit and talk to him for a day.

If you were a crayon, what color would you be and why?
Hmm. White because you’d be invisible until someone colors over you and then you’d stand out.

What song would you sing at karaoke night?
I wouldn’t, because even though I don’t get out much, I don’t want to make enemies when I do.

Who would you call for bail money?
My brother, Brad.

If you had a warning label, what would yours say?
A penchant for the profane.

If you had to eat at one Cincinnati restaurant for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Nicola’s! What an amazing little date night spot. We went for my birthday and had amazing food and great people watching – the best combo.

What is your favorite place to take the kids in Cincinnati?
We’re still exploring all the great local places, but my current favorite is Devou Park. I love packing a picnic and letting them run with the amazing view of the city as a backdrop.

What is your favorite thing about being a mom?
Snuggles.

What is your least favorite thing about being a mom?
The guilt.

Welcome Andi!
